National Security Adviser Michael Flynn Will Recommend Trump Defy Russia in a Key Way
Michael Flynn, the National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump, will be recommending to the President that he supports the entry of former Russian satellite Montenegro into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO. The US Senate Foreign Relations Committee backs the move as well.

This follows an alleged failed coup in October by Russia to install Pro-Russian leaders. Montenegro Officials claim Russia tried to sway their elections, and even tried to kill the Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic.
“The organizers of this criminal group were nationalists from Russia whose initial premise and conclusion was that the government in Montenegro led by Milo Djukanovic cannot be changed in election and that it should be toppled by force,” Milivoje Katnic, special prosecutor for organized crime in Montenegro, said at the time.
