We are calling on our members to write letters to their editor calling out House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy for his, frankly, disloyal and ill-informed swipe at Attorney General Jeff Sessions. McCarthy is part of the insider clique who have utterly failed to move on President Trump’s agenda, and we need to make our voice be heard.
Here is the substance of his remarks.
“I think, the trust of the American people, you recuse yourself in these situations,” McCarthy (R-Calif.) said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “I just think for any investigation going forward, you want to make sure everybody trusts the investigation … that there’s no doubt within the investigation.”
“Does that require his recusal, congressman?” panelist Mark Halperin followed up.
“I think it would be easier from that standpoint, yes,” McCarthy said.
SO WHAT TO DO….
Write a cordial and respectful letter to your local newspaper editor. Explain that what Congressman Kevin McCarthy was responding to is fake news and that his reaction was treacherous. Explain that the Majority Leader does not represent your views and that by taking such an unwarranted potshot at the Attorney General he proves the fear many have that the swamp creatures inside the GOP are culpable in trying to undermine the President and thwart the will of the voters.
Once you do this. SHARE your letter with us and, if it is published, share a link.
We want to know how things go, and we want to compile all these letters that are published and send information to the White House.

PS, don’t forget to send us links to any letters you get published\, we will compile them and send them to the White House to let the President know we have his back.

For reference and background:
Such a man who bows down to the slightest fake news contrived controversy is not fit to the Majority Leader, and we need you to write letters to your local newspaper, expressing your outrage over the Majority Leader’s disloyalty and his lack of backbone,
The truth is, this entire story is fake news, and McCarthy has fallen for it, almost as if he was looking for an excuse to attack the President. He, and his ilk, are as big an impediment to the Trump revolution’s aim to clean the swamp as the fake news media and the lying Democrats.
He is the one who needs to “recuse” himself from opining in ignorance and jamming knives into our backs!
The media circus is based on the lie that “then Senator Jeff Sessions lied about his contacts with the Russians.” This is not anywhere near the truth, and any Republican who feeds this narrative is being treacherous. We need to call them out.
Here are is the actual transcript of the actual question, which was answered honestly and accurately, and Mccarthy knows it because he surely knows that as the head of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sessions would necessarily have met and interacted with MANY foreign officials, including, the Russians. McCarthy also knows that Sessions was not part of the Trump campaign, he was merely a supporter.
Here then is the transcript:
Franken: CNN just published a story alleging that the intelligence community provided documents to the president-elect last week, that included information that “Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump.” These documents also allegedly say “there was a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.” Again, I’m telling you this as it’s coming out, so you know. But if it’s true, it’s obviously extremely serious, and if there is any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of this campaign, what will you do?
Sessions: Senator Franken, I’m not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians, and I’m unable to comment on it.
Franken: Very well.
Senator Sessions did meet with the Russian Ambassador as the head of the Foreign Relations Committee and he encountered the same official at a part held by the Heritage Foundation. It is a willful stretch of credulity to make anything sinister out of this, and the Majority Leader knows full well how this game is played. He has shown that he is not worthy of the office of the House Majority leader.
